IHSA training courses

IHSA training refers to the health and safety education programs provided by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) — a leading organization in Ontario dedicated to improving workplace safety across high-risk industries. The Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) is a non-profit organization recognized by the Government of Ontario and affiliated with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). IHSA training includes a wide range of courses, certifications, and e-learning programs that teach workers and employers how to work safely and meet Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements.

It specializes in safety training, auditing, and resources for industries like:

  • Construction

  • Transportation

  • Electrical utilities

  • Aggregates (mining, gravel, etc.)

These programs are designed to:

  • Educate workers about hazards and safe practices

  • Ensure supervisors and employers understand their legal duties

  • Help companies maintain COR™ (Certificate of Recognition) and WSIB compliance
